Ingredients

  • 10oz frozen spinach
  • 8oz of cream cheese (brought to room temperature)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1 packet of Lipton Vegetable Soup Mix
  • Few splashes of hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Cook spinach, drain out moisture (use paper towels to draw out the water)

  2. Mix everything together in a mixing bowl.

  3. Transfer to a Tupperware container and let cool for at least an hour in the refrigerator before serving.

Recipe Notes

*To cook the spinach, I just place the frozen brick of spinach on a plate and microwave for around 4-5 minutes (occasionally flipping it over). I do not add any extra water since all the water needs to be drained. You could also just let it defrost overnight.

**To speed up the process to get the cream cheese softer quicker, you can microwave 30 secs and then flip over and another 30 secs.

***I prefer Hellman’s mayo – it is the best in my opinion!

****Lipton’s Vegetable Soup Mix is the best for this dip, it adds so much texture and flavor.

*****For this dip, I always use Frank’s.

Pairings:

If you want to keep this a low carb snack, you can pair it with an assortment of veggies. Otherwise, if you or your friends love the carbs, this dip goes well with Wheat Thins crackers, crusty bread, pretzels, and more. This also is terrific on a bagel.
