This Spanish Garlic Shrimp recipe is one of my favorite ways to make shrimp! It is a great low carb tapa or an entire meal.
Over medium heat, in a large skillet, melt butter.
Add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes (while stirring often – be sure not to burn the garlic).
Then add sherry and let it reduce for about 1-2 minutes.
Reduce heat to medium low, add shrimp, paprika, smoked paprika, chili powder, black pepper, salt and cook for about5 minutes (or until shrimp is fully cooked) * while occasionally stirring.
Add lemon juice, cilantro and stir.
Remove from heat and serve.
