Ingredients

  • 5 T butter
  • Zest of a lemon
  • 2 teas garlic powder
  • ½ teas dried oregano
  • ½ teas dried basil
  • ½ teas dried thyme
  • ¼ teas crushed red pepper flakes*
  • ½ cup sherry or other dry white wine
  • 1 lb raw shrimp (peeled / deveined)
  • ½ teas sea salt
  • ½ teas coarse black pepper
  • ½ teas dried parsley
  • 2 T fresh lemon juice (juice of 2 small lemons)
  • Parmesan cheese (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Over medium heat, in a large skillet, melt butter.

  2. Add garlic powder, zest, oregano, basil, thyme, crushed red peppers and cook for 2 minutes while stirring occasionally.

  3. Then add sherry and let it reduce for about 2 minutes.

  4. Reduce heat to medium low, add shrimp, salt, black pepper and cook for 5 minutes while occasionally stirring.

  5. Add parsley and cook for 1-2 more minutes (or until shrimp is fully cooked)**

  6. Add lemon juice and stir.

  7. Top with some parmesan cheese.

  8. Remove from heat and serve.
